Pesticides In Tea Bags? & Celestial Seasonings Indian Spice Chai Tea

I love a good tea and my all time favorite tea company is Art of Tea, hands down.  I have always preferred loose leaf teas for their taste and quality, but every now and again a package of bagged tea will catch my eye.

Fall was approaching when I came across Celestial Seasonings India Spice Chai Tea.  The chill in the air made me long for a hot cup of tea and I could already taste the spiciness of the black tea accompanied by cinnamon, ginger, cloves, cardamom, nutmeg, black pepper and Chinese star anise.

The Celestial Seasoning Chai Tea is a lovely tea.  The flavor is rich and just as satisfying as I hoped it would be, and perfect to warm the soul on a chilly autumn day.

There has been a lot of hype lately about the pesticides found in some popular tea brands, mainly because of this Food Babe article published: Do You Know What’s Really In Your Tea?so I have been very leery on what teas I am purchasing lately.  Although this is not a tea that I drink daily, I am still cautious.  Not only because of the pesticides that may be sprayed on our teas, but that may also be found on the bags used to package them.

Lovely quote to leave you with from the Celestial Seasonings Tea Box :)
